Meet the Kalash team
What is Kalash?
'Kalash' comes from one of the many places visited by owner, Ben Thompson, on his adventures. It has been a part of Ben since the early 90's after discovering a love of exploring the world. Whilst travelling, Ben found the most incredible artefacts, gemstones and artisans that his hometown of Hervey Bay had never seen before.
Meet Ben
Owner / Adventurer / Stepdad
Ben is a lover of adventure, the great outdoors, boating and most of all his friends and family. While downtime may be few and far between, Ben always tries to make time for a yearly motorbike adventure. Since the beginning Ben has worked closely with artisans in India to produce beautifully unique jewellery pieces.
Meet Shell
Kalash All Rounder
After working at Australia Post for over 17 years and while being mum to two boys, Shell had been a fast learner when it comes to all things Kalash. Today her days consist of visiting the post office for parcel drop off's, photographing Kalash pieces, learning all about different types of gemstones + much more.
